This year, community members "Rounded up the Red, White, and Blue" for display in the booth. In the left foreground is a blue-hued tin roofed house from an old photo of Shenandoah Valley. The "P of H" garden reference comes from the olden days when the Grange set up the booth. Not all of us are Grange members now, but we care very much about our land. 2002 Booth

Contributed by Don Potter: The guidons (flags) you see here belonged to the Headquarters Company, 185th Transportation Battalion and the 1113th Transportation Company, California Army National Guard. The headquarters, stationed in Fresno, CA and the 1113th Transportation Company, stationed in Sacramento, CA were activated in 1991 along with 10 other California National Guard units to serve in the 1991 Gulf War, also known as Desert Storm. The men and women, officers and enlisted alike, served with distinction under combat conditions for more than six months during the war. 2002 Booth
