Everyone used to get lost in the Valley, but guess what? Mike asked Cal Trans and Public Works and the Amador Vintners to put up new Shenandoah Road signs. Hooray!
1. Print this page! Pack a picnic! When in Plymouth, you'll see a gas station on the left and El Dorado Savings Bank on the right.
2. Just a little after that right turn, you'll see the road "Y" - stay left, and watch for traffic coming from Fiddletown (note the multiple sets of skid marks.)
3. Turn left at the monument. Dillian, Renwood, Shenandoah, Deaver and Amador Foothill precede, Dobra and Driven follow. Amador Flower Farm is on Shenandoah Schoolhouse Road.
4. You'll pass by Karmere before your second chance to turn left on Steiner Road. SLOW DOWN if you are going to make this turn.
5. Coming from Fairplay, this is the "back entrance" to Steiner Road. Visit the wineries from this direction, and you're working against "flow" and will have a better experience.
Greenstone rock walls surround a black wrought-iron gate at our entrance. You'll see our daffodils in spring! See you soon!
