The appellation is Amador County or Shenandoah Valley of California. All wines are cold stabilized and racked. All red wines are bone dry.
The majority of the winegrapes come from head-pruned estate vines on St. George (phylloxera resistant) rootstock. Other growers are paid well for grapes that meet our specifications. Grapes are hand picked into half ton bins and inspected by a winery principal. Amador County vineyards produce 2 - 4 tons per acre.
