2001 AMADOR COUNTY FAIR: CAKE CATTLE & ROCK N' ROLL

Come fairtime, the Shenandoah Valley Community Club members contribute their best produce, herbs, wine, etc. for display in the main exhibit hall. This fair's theme is,"Cake, Cattle, & Rock and Roll". Usually, Vicki Matulich (at Dobra Zemlja Winery) paints a very realistic mural, but this year she passed the booth duties to Mike Spinetta. This was fun to do -- hope you like it, too -- and be sure to visit our fair every year!

HOW CAN A COW WHISTLE?

That big Hereford cow there is sporting a Jerry Lee Lewis hairdo & whistling rock n’ roll. And, yes, it’s about to be abducted by aliens (a supernatural extension of the “shake, rattle & roll” fair theme). Thanks to: Mary Cowan’s cow “Dolly”, Hein & Co.
