SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS

_____We donated $2,500 to two Amador County volunteer fire departments in the month of October. The Jackson Valley Fire Protection District received $1,000, and the Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters Association received $1,500. The donations reflect the latest efforts in the family’s history of supporting local charities. _____Thom Reed, Jackson Valley Fire Chief, plans to use the funds for finishing touches on a firehouse. "We’d like to make our meeting room more comfortable for training sessions, so we’ll use this money for air conditioning." Antonio Moreno, Fire Chief for Plymouth, will put his $1,500 toward a new rescue vehicle. "We’re in the process of raising $90,000 for a new paramedic unit, and Spinetta’s donation brings us much closer to our goal." _____"We have several fire chiefs in our extended family, and my father in law was a volunteer chief for over fifty years," said Charles Spinetta.
