| And now, the sweetest of the bunch. We are lucky to live in a microclimate where Black Muscat grows well. For those of you who visit our tasting room during harvest, you know what a treat it is to eat the Muscat winegrapes. To the right is a flyover of the vineyards from a few years ago -- atop is the forest of the Cosumnes River Canyon. |

| THE BLACK MUSCAT |
The Muscat vineyards are planted in an offset diamond pattern, a method which we have not seen elsewhere. Our best tasting grape, the Black Muscat, sometimes called Muscat Hamburg, is also very rare in California. These are heavy grapes, and the berries are larger than the Orange Muscat. Please visit the winery to taste this beautiful wine.
