THE BARBERA

The Barbera vine is vigorous, and harder to train. We do not trellis, so we may not finish "sculpting" a barbera vine until its seventh year. Leaves form a canopy for each grape vine. We crown thin some canes out so the canopy is not too dense, allowing for good air flow and sunlight while discouraging mildew and rot. THE CHENIN BLANC

Bright leaves of the Chenin Blanc bathe in ample sunlight on Southwest facing hills. These grapes are in the "Fun & Yummy White," and Frost Wine.
