Here is a preview of what you will enjoy when you visit our family in Shenandoah Valley. The interior space is designed by Phil Giurlani and Charles Spinetta. Cedar and redwood are the two main woods used. There are no windows for the sake of the art.

(Image 1) An owl's eye view of the redwood bar. Visible are many originals by Joe Garcia, ceramics by Mary Mendlein, and sunflowers fresh from Jim's garden -- to complement Susan Labouri's baby bear print. (Image 2) There's the old wine press decorated with red hot poker flowers and full of tasty red wines. More original gouache and watercolors hang on the cedar chevrons on the wall. (Image 3) A partial view of the main room of the upstairs gallery. Here, framed prints are displayed on wood panels hanging from the ceiling. (Image 4) Inside the main room, you see Sherrie's paintings in the foreground. (Image 5) Now, you're inside the adjoining room upstairs. Some of Gretchen Fellerhoff-White's etchings and Adele Earnshaw's originals are presented on the panels. Some rare 20 year old originals by Sherrie are in the background.

(Image 6) The wine art wall - images by Mike Capser, Rod Ruthel, Michael Spinetta, and others! (Image 7) Down the other flight of stairs and into the room with the Italian marble wine bar. (Image 8) Turning around, you see some more of the same room. (Image 9) Where it all comes from -- Laura's framing shop. In front, there are shrink-wrapped prints in the bins, and an original jackrabbit watercolor by Garcia. You must visit to get the full experience. Now, take a look outside to see the picnic grounds and experience the beauty of Steiner Road.
